Hmmm... would be totally awesome but the source is not trustworthy enough. We'll see.
To those that say 'why no FF7 remake?', FFX would be much easier to remake because, like FFXIII, it consists of corridors plus some small towns. The big town is basically corridors, too. Being much easier, it could be a way to test the waters for a FF7 remake.
But again, not a reliable source, so we can only speculate.
