FFXIII-2 - the return of Mini games?

my expectations for FFXIII-2 arent really high since FFXIII did dissapoint me (it wasnt bad, but i naturally expect a Main FF to rival VII and VIII), but as i've read the following, i was positively surprised.

Sony's conference at the Tokyo Game Show, Yasunori Kitase, producer of Final Fantasy XIII-2 has confirmed that there will be several mini-games that make us to spend hours playing them.
