720p is a bit disappointing for 3D blu-ray, but more then enough for 3D games. I don't think 3D games will reach 1080p just yet next gen.
It will be great if racing games are going to support this device with head tracking. It should be easy for kinect and ps eye to track the white shape with the blue light in the middle. I'm sure the pc community will be able to whip up a quick vr head tracking demo with a simple webcam.
Being able to lay down comfortably while playing is also a bonus.
