Once you start using headtracking in combination with headmount displays things get a bit closer to being revolutionary.

This. I already use big 7.1 channel surround sound headphones when gaming and sit entirely too close to my TV, but having a headset that incorporates the display, sound, 3D, etc would be perfect. I'd be interested if the price wasn't so high and if they added other sensors to the device for head tracking and whatnot.

Good concept, still a year or 2 out before it could be fully utilized IMO. Maybe Sony's next-gen gimmick?
