This does not mean that 15 million are interested in Ps3, it says 15 total. So if we divide it to 40-40-20 interest, then only 6 million of the 15 are interested and prefer the ps3's. Not to mention that is only hardcores, who have likely already made their purchase and preference for this generation. To sum up: this article says nothing. |
Another (obvious) question is how do they determine the number of distinct gamers that surf their site?
If someone surfs IGN from Home, Work and School would they suddenly count as 3 distinct gamers? Wouldn't this favour the systems that have far more obsessive gamers?
