In all fairness, the US never has ANY reason to send troops to any fucking country unless a.) they are invading the country b.) they agreed to defend a friendly nation from invasion c.) a country actually requested aid on a natural disaster or d.) the government is trying to be fucking dicks. In most cases, it's d, 1 nation should not try to be the fucking police of the world, we are past that, we are broke, and we shouldn't be spending that much money on military going over seas to be fucking dicks, the world will in fact move on without the intervention of our great fucking nation.
