Well, Halo 3: ODST wasn't a main title. AFAIK, it was just a DLC priced as a full game. An act of milking by Microsoft. And Last time I checked, Reach was ahead of Halo 3 by about 500k. With that in mind, I think we can see that Halo is on the rise. Definitely not on the level of COD, but it's still on the rise, slightly. |
Not in over all sales, according to VGChartz sales data Halo3 has overall 11.32 million in sales while Reach only has 8.69. Of course Halo3 has been on the market a very long time and there is no guarantee that by the end of its life Reach won't surpass Halo3. However almost every new CoD to come out has increased its sales.
So is Halo really on the rise? sales show that Halo is at best around just as strong as it began on 360. The best outcome will see Halo:Reach lifetime sales coming in line with Halo3's.
Unless VGChartz data is wrong?
