Nope. By your logic, then the PS3 is a PS2 with nothing more than HD and memory upgrades, oh and the piece of crap Sony calls Blu Ray. Absolutely nothing different about it.
Wii U has tons of things different with it. You're acting like backwards-compatibility is a bad thing, even when the console has something totally new. Besides the entire company of Sony is made up of idiots. That's why they lost over 2 billion over the PSN network hacking incident.
