While I should be terribly jaded by this reversal. I confess to more of a feeling of disappointment then outright rage. It was never a case of the game not being enjoyable, or the issues it had of being intolerable. Neither was actually the case with this game. They were genuinely minor as far as the 360 was concerned. The game is just so frenetic in how it plays out. You simply find yourself overlooking the issues, because you are simply too busy to care too much about them. It is easy to not get hung up on a few broken side quests when you have over a hundred to play with, or get sick with the draw in when your immediate concern is with the enemy six feet away charging right at you.

I would highly recommend this game with all of its faults. However I could never recommend a game with a real game breaking bug. That is just not something that is permissible. It simply reflects poorly on the developer, and depending on how they deal with this bug it could get worse. If they simply choose to patch forward rather then fix the problem retroactively. I am hopeful they will resurrect these characters, but I am pretty realistic about the chances. Which is actually pretty damning as far as that goes.

I am not saying the situation cannot be righted, but it will require more then a little halfhearted patching. Until you see that out of this developer. Not only count on this bug being chronic but recurring.
