If versus 13 is a fail then I may lose a lot of trust with them, but as of right now no they're fine it's just that it seems they don't like money. Like,the ff7 remake would DEFINITELY make millions! Besides the obvious though another factor would be to stop taking so long on games like recent ff13 it took so long and didn't do as great as it should have. Oh also, on Versus 13, it only just recently under went full production, though it got announced in '06 I believe and I was 13/14 at that time! Oh and don't forget the Kingdom Hearts fiasco that has been going on, not sure if they're simply trying to gain as much money a possible on the franchise or simply not obliging to fans and announcing/developing KH3.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I feel like Square-Enix does not like money, also I understand that an ff7 remake or even an ff9 or ff6 remake (Most popular ff games and what not) may cost a lot of money and take a lot of time, but I have NO doubt that they will profit insanely.
