Ever hear of Sepparation from Church and state? That's not 100% factual, but I do see what you're saying.

I can understand the thought, but some research simply requires that animals be tested because there really isn't any other way to learn these things, and they are important. I totally agree that animals should not be sacrificed for frivolous things such as cosmetic research or the next boner pill, but when it comes to real diseases that people need medication to live through then I can't fault researchers for killing mice in order to do their research. So much of our general knowledge about Biology is from animal testing, it really is necessary even not for medical testing but also just for general knowledge experiments.

I'm glad you see the other side of the fence though. I just can't get over how they must feel. :(
