LBP2 did well getting a 92. Being the meta-whore that I am, a sequel scoring 2-4 points lower than its predecessor is OFTEN times the better game.
LBP2 and LBP1 being a clear display of that.
Gears 3 and Gears 2 also being a display of that.
Infamous 2 and Infamous also being a display of that.
Resistance 3 and Resistance 2 also being a display of that.
GT5 and KZ3 fell short, no question there.
I know it doesn't really make sense, but I honestly think its accurate xP. You just have to adjust that reviewers won't give a way higher score unless the game has an insane leap (for instance Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 1).
I predict Uncharted 3 will land at 92 and it will be a better game. So yes, it will beat Gears 3, but it will not beat Uncharted 2, despite it being better like all the other games released this year (aside from KZ3).
