I recall Gerstmann and the 8.8 incident, but as Kantor indicated, Nintendo fans by this point in the generation are mostly nonchalant about Nintendo games getting screwed over at the review page (though that still isn't an issue with their big first party stuff), while Sony fans expect higher scores for first party games, and are used to having the media on their side
