If by he, meaning me, Than you are wrong. I did not make this list up, I found it on a website that i recently started visting.

Also while DMC may be the first succesful Hack and slash game. I think GOW was the first succesful, popular, and critically acclaimed hack and slash game of all time.



I know you didnt write this.. I would of addressed you if you did. Last sentence is laughable for few reasons DMC was hugely popular when it came out its sitting at about 3mil now.. not popular? not successful? stop it Dante himself is a hugely popular character . You do know DMC came out waaaay before GOW right? plus there are several other franchise like Ninja Gaiden(which also came before GOW) that offer more the genre than GOW.
