I find these articles hilarious and sad. Hilarious because while Nintendo made mistakes, 3DS is not a failure (have a look at the numbers in http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=132178&page=4#11), and sad because venues like GI keep pushing and pushing the idea that 3DS is a failure until it gets into everyone's heads, including developers. It worked for them for the Wii, and I am afraid it could work for the 3DS as well, since the groundwork has been laid with the Wii.
Neither 3DS nor Vita will sell like their predecessors, but neither will be a failure either.
