Your right, because nobody can get their heads around the fact that a Christian can be friends with a homosexual. They are all too narrow minded and can't see past initial differences. Not calling all of VGChartz narrow minded as I am pretty sure you are wrong and many aren't narrow minded. I fully believe that some if not many users actually realize that I do have gay friends. I have a lot of friends who have radically different views then my own and we get along fine, sometimes we fight like any other friends do but we see past these minor differences.
Considering the fact that I am not a homophobic, I don't see any reason why I can't be friends with a homosexual or two. I mean its not like I hate gays or have any animosity against gays. I don't like the gay rights movement and disagree with gay marriage. So yah I do at times have disputes regarding these issues. However my friends aren't shallow inconsiderate pricks, I grew up with them they understand me and I am very accepting of them regardless of whether we agree or disagree.
Also to be honest of my gay friends one lives on the other end of the country and the other I don't hang out with as much as I used too. Those two being my primary gay friends I have a couple others who are more like acquaintances now.
But its extremely narrow minded to think that people can't look past certain beliefs and get along. I have a friend who is Muslim who says Christian's should be forced to convert at gun point. He scares me a little but guess what I talked to him last week and were supposed to have dinner again soon.
Why because I and others who are mature and good human beings don't judge people based on religion or sexual orientation. At least we try not to, I try to love everyone regardless of what they believe and that leads to me being friends with a large variety of people. I can't see why its anyones business who I am friends with?
Not to mention I don't see really why I should care what a few users on VGChartz think, just because they are to narrow minded to see how I could be friends with a homosexual while holding my certain religious beliefs doesn't discourage me.
Also anyone hoping I am going to suddenly change tune and deny my friends existence because of judgmental jerks saying my friendships don't exist is really mistaken. Read all my posts on the subject, Mr.Bubbles you have read many, have I ever denied having gay friends? Have I ever contradicted the fact that I have gay friends?
I have never recanted the fact I have gay friends, I will never recant the fact I have gay friends. Whether some users on VGChartz believe or not is really up to them, but honestly I see no reason why I should give a crap. I mean the only ones who make this an issue are the ones who have a problem with me being Christian or a different view on gay marriage and the rights movement.
People will always pick and choose what they believe to make themselves feel better. Its easier for someone to attack me as homophobic if they deny the fact that I have gay friends and sympathies with many homosexuals. Its hard to demonize someone when they aren't actually that bad. People need to make excuses so that their ideologies and opinions sound logical.
