I enjoyed putting in 100s of hours into Pokemon Red/Blue/Gold/Silver leveling up countless pokies to lv100, playing through virtua cop/house of the dead on the same pc with my friends, playing metal slug/king of fighter in the arcade, playing super mario bros. with my cousins and parents. And thats only scratching the surface, I could go on endlessly.

But am I the only one who also enjoys the modern day gaming just as much? I remember for ps2 putting in 100s of hours into persona 3/4 grinding my way into oblivion lol and more recently brawling hours on end online in Blazblue/Street fighter/Mortal Kombat with my friends online and putting 100s of hours into COD 4/MW2/BO online shooting noobs in the face (+getting shot) and savouring every moment.

I just don't see why one can't just love both oldschool and new games. I loved gaming since childhood and enjoyed games back then, and even now when I am much older, I still love how gaming has changed. Rather than feel sorry for myself, I just go out and enjoy whatever's out there, if I search and experiment enough, I always find something in gaming that I can have fun with and enjoy.
