I don't get the MH series much but I've come to understand that MH4 announced for the 3DS is the sequel to Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii. Whereas the PSP ones which sell like 3m+ are part of the Monster Hunter Portable series, so Monster Hunter Portable 4th is still probably going to be on the Vita? (Baring any crazy sales trends).
If anyone can enlighten me as to the difference of the two series's it'd help, always a franchise I've wanted to get into but never had a PSP and the Wii one just sort of passed me by.
