I don't know... Witcher 2 had pretty shitastic controls and UI.

I read it too, but also that patch 1.3 should fix many issues about that, it's not ideal, having a better interface for mouse and keyboard users since the start would be far better, but it's still a better direction than other devs. http://thewitcher.com/community/entry/67/index.html
