My brother's birthday is a little less than a month and two weeks away! I'm excited for him because he's going to get both of the gifts that he wanted. I prepaid in full for a Flame Red 3DS and bought a new copy of Starfox 64 3D the day I picked it up at GameStop. Yes, I get my games at GameStop. No, it's not because I'm a nub, they just happen to have a store within walking distance of my apartment that I live at with my mom. No, I am not a scrub, I know I'm not the tits, and no, I am not ashamed to say that I live with my mom because if I didn't need her support, and she didn't have mine, she'd probably have killed herself by now.
Anyway, I'm brimming with anticipation for the moment my brother unwraps his presents. I'm so excited that I'm worried that I'll ruin the secret. Luckily, my brother isn't on these forums as he lacks internet access at his group home at the moment.
Hey, I just had a thought, why do people on these forums knock GameStop anyway? Is it because they give in-store credit for used games in amounts disproportionate to the price they sell used games for? They have to turn a profit somehow! Is it because they sell used games and don't share the profits with the publishers? Somebody else already bought the game, so why should they have to? Is it because of the gaming magazine that they own, Game Informer? Why do people judge that without reading it? Or is it because taking pot shots at that store is just the cool thing to do? If that's the case, why not vent your spleen at a store that's more deserving of your frustration? Best Buy comes to mind, actually.
As to my book, I haven't been able to get back to it because of my sleep schedule. I would be typing away at it right now, but it's on my mom's computer and I think that she's winding herself down in order to go to sleep for the night, and as mom's computer is in her bedroom I would be unwise to disturb her for this purpose.
