PullusPardus said: did you guys actually played the original ? i'm pretty sure non of you did, Syndicate wasn't that good of a game to begin with i'm not interested anyways, i want Road Rash EA! , but XCom on the other hand.... -sigh- that was a real shame, since the original was great. |
Uhm Syndicate is brilliant.. taxing your conquered territories so you can do research and development.. but you couldn't tax too much otherwise they would revolt.. always being outnumbered so tactics and r&d to have better weapons was very important.. it also was critically acclaimed by the press.. so what was not good about it?

well i never knew it was critically acclaimed, i just checked wikipedia to see that, i guess people can like anything.
it wasn't a "Bad" game mind you , but it wasn't that good to be acclaimed by press, sounds to me like its another case of.... Uncharted Dundundundundun =flame shieldon-

No, no, no, no, no... So wrong. I don't even know where to start. Let me put it this way: Syndicate, Magic Carpet, Dungeon Keeper 1+2 were by far the best that ever came out of a studio headed by Peter Molyneux. These 4 are among the best games I played in the 90s. Consider your Peter Murphy records revoked, as well, Mr. Severance.
