ok after that verbal bashing im going to say this. "Renting" as you call it, will never work. People want to buy their movies and keep them for viewing at any time. not go rent a HD movie they had paid $4 for 30 times! wat about movies ppl watch a lot? you going to force them to rent? they see you forcing that they are going streight to tangible blu-ray. And in case you didnt know, they have already been able to make 200gb blu ray discs (since they started making them) they are in prototype stage.

Where do you get off telling me how i see the market is wrong?? who made you freaking kind of the world? i read your article... obviously i wasnt moved by it!

Scenario: the cable/internet to your house is down, they expect it to be fixed in a week.

Outcome(dowloads): no movies for a week

Outcome (discs): "pass the popcorn"

THE ONLY REASON PPL R TALKING ABOUT DOWNLOADS NOW IS BECAUSE THEY ARE HD-DVD SUPPORTS WHO CANT STAND BEING WRONG. WHILE YOU PPL WAIT ANOTHER 10 YEARS FOR DOWNLOADS TO EVEN PLAUSIBLY BEAT A DISC FORMAT, ILL HAVE MY BLU-RAY PLAYER MY STUDIO SUPPORTED MOVIES AND MY SOURROUND SOUND SYSTEM.  HAD YOU POSTED THIS BEFORE WARNER ANNOUNCED BLURAY EXCLUSIVTY I MIGHT HAVE THOUGHT YOU WERE REASONABLE.

but what are the odds? everyone seems to jump hd-dvd ship when warner goes blu ray exclusive. Seriously, take it like a man!!!
