There is a lot of women developers in game studios , i don't see how this one stands out from the rest o_o

For her taste for some WRPGs that tend to be quite thick, The Elder Scrolls series has a quite standard fantasy setting (but with interesting references to the late Roman Empire), but a complex world, a complex stats system and a shitload of sidequests to get lost in, and some quite dark conspiracies too, Fallout series adds to all this a post-apocalyptic setting that usually (but there are exceptions), like the complex stats and leveling systems, attracts more male geeks than girls. I like strong women.

Edit: Oh, I answered before reading your edited posts, but I can just say nice examples, I like them and I like female gamers that go beyond just those games that once were considered suitable for girls. And I won't ditch Jade Raymond, I just needed a female dev and gamer example into stealth games!

Do you mean.... you never played with or seen a girl that plays that type of games? i find that hard to believe since most female gamer adore RPGs

(i hate the term "gamer girl" for some reason, it makes me think of those annoying hipsters)

The female gamers I know either love shooters or Mario and Zelda. None of them like RPGs, wether WRPGs or JRPGs.

Yeah wth? Never seen a girl play an RPG in person. Only the Sims, Mario, Fifa and casual games/dance games

If it makes you feel better, I dislike stuff like the Sims and FIFA (and pretty much all sports games) and I haven't played Mario or Zelda since I was a kid. But I do play plenty of RPGs, shooters, action and adventure titles. I love Fallout AND fantasy games like Dragon Age and Elder Scrolls. I just finished Deus Ex, Metro 2033 is on my pile of shame, and I plan on losing all semblance of a social life once Skyrim comes out.

Female gamers like me do exist! We're all probably just too busy playing games to shout out our preferences on the internet. :)

"But I don't want to go among mad people!" said Alice. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat. "We're all mad here."
