I'd probably choose a peaceful place like in Animal Crossing.
Being a little more adventurous, Onett from Earthbound seems like a nice and quirky place to live.
But if I was seeking thrills and knew I could always continue or restart, I might go with Angel Land from Kid Icarus. I've always loved the look and feel of the place, along with the cool monsters.
"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."
