i submit that evolution can and has occurred. for this i have provided evidence of when it has happened and been observed.
if you submitting is that evolution cannot occur you are tasked with providing evidence that it has not ever occurred and also provide a logical explanation of why is ought not be able to occur.
therefore, while my theory may not be the exact correct description of the truth, your description has been proven incorrect. this is how science works, we come up with ideas that best represent the evidence. when proven wrong an new hypothesis is formed taking into consideration ALL of the known evidence. cherrypicking data too meet your needs is not science, if anything that's called politics.
