MS is building a huge catalog of movies/shows to be offered digitally. BR is not it.

Sorry.  My point was that Blu-ray is still the best route for uncompressed video and audio.  If this rumor is true, the enticement of Blu-Ray on the Xbox 360 would give it more "staying power."  Blu-ray for games on the Xbox 360 would splinter the market.  Blu-ray as a movie playback option only should not.  You can still stay commited to digital downloads while still offering Blu-ray.
