Some of the stuff you said isnt entirely correct and I will clarify it here, so nobody gets wrong ideas. Switching Drugs before you get addicted doesnt work. It certainly helps to decrease the tolerance to a certain drug. But the area in the brain that makes you psychologically addicted will be stimulated by all of them so It doesnt matter if you switch drugs you will still get addicted. The Switch between Heroin and Amphetamines/Cocaine prevents a physiological addiction though. But every addict knows its the psychological addiction that makes you come back.
