What happened here? I went to sleep, woke up, ate breakfast and went to the gym...and I missed a full page of arguing? :)
Jokind aside, I do know blurays are 1080p. I have a few 3D blurays which I watch on my projector using Power DVD and a bluray drive. But since projector is 720p, I havent had the pleasure of experiencing true 1080p 3D at home. Hoever projectors tend to hide resolution loss better than LCDs, due to soft focus pixels so I am pretty certain I am not missing 3000 dollars worth of detail (cost of 1080p 3D projector)
I honestly don't see myself upgrading to 1080p 3D projector till one comes out that supports gaming @ 1080p and Nvidia 3D vision. Apparently the new Acer 9500BD has a dual link DVI port. Fingers crossed...
