You know what I'm talking about - you see them in films all the time. However, real life corporations often commit crimes against mankind in order to make more money. Coca Cola privatizes much of India's water resources; destroying local agriculture. Nestle supposedly tricked into slavery onto African cocoa farms (and there was also that scandal with the baby formula in the 1980s which I don't know much about).
Can you name any businesses that have caused great harm to either the planet or to people in order to increase profit? Do you feel that corporations should be monitored more closely to stop them from taking advantage of those living in poorer countries?
