The rumor mill is currently in hyper-drive with news from the November 2011 edition of Xbox World magazine indicating that the successor to the almighty Xbox 360 console is currently in the works over at Microsoft, with a late 2013/early 2014 release date penciled in along with a slew of stellar first-party launch titles including third-person shooting title Gears of War 4 and racing simulator Forza 4.

Shady development sources close to the publication have revealed that a bunch of next-generation titles are currently in production at major publishers, with a retail release targeted for late 2013 or early 2014 – opening up the distinctly exciting possibility that the next wave of consoles will finally be announced at E3 2012.
