But seriously, I'm sure they are making a good chunk of profits with each unit sold, it may just cost them, say,  $250 to produce each. Since they are out already, they may cost $150 to produce by 2014, and if you subsidize it a bit then you have at $100. I say it's very possible!

I think it would be a good idea to heavily promote the 3D headset and support it with software and make people want it.  I just don't think packing it in (aside from a few bundles) is a good idea.  Households with more than one family member that likes gaming, people that like to socialize, motion control gamers, and people on a budget would be left out in the cold.  This tech is insanely sexy, to me, but I think it's better left to the high end gaming enthusiast.  The masses just aren't ready, yet.

Changing topics, I'm very interested in seeing the connections on the back of that box.  My current TV has a PC, a Wii, a PS3, a 360, a stereo, a gaming headset, and an HD DirecTV box hooked up to it.  I'm already going through the process of figuring out exactly how I'm going to hook all of these things up to this headset (so I can switch back and forth, easily).

I'm buying from Best Buy, too.  That way, when the inevitable wireless version or the motion controlled version comes out, I can upgrade pretty painlessly.

And then all your HDMI sources, etc etc, hook up to this reciever itself. I'm sure this little box of wonders is what also simulates the Surround Sound experience, as its software oriented, you need something to process it.

And as far as bundles are concerned, this needs to be marketed in a similar fashion as the move, as a heavily supported Peripheral, not mandatory, with specific bundles including this (Which I will be buying). Also it needs to be made clear that this is its own, standalone device which just so happens to be heavily compatable and supported with the PS4.  All in all I think Sony can handle that task, as it isn't hard to achieve by any standard. 


You wouldn't happen to have a picture of her from behind, would you?  I wanna see what her ass looks like!  And even if it doesn't have a ton of HDMI ports, component ports, and Audio input/output jacks, there's enough stuff on the market to make it work (I'll probably have to buy an HDMI switch box),  I just want to know what I'm getting into.

Can't find any pictures of the ass, Sony must be more into full frontal with their units... Which is a shame, as I am quite the ass man myself :'(

The head-mounted unit will need to be paired with a processor unit, which can act as an HDMI switcher for moving your video and audio signals between the HMZ-T1 and a television. We suppose that the processor unit also means you won’t be caught using this display on the bus anytime soon – but Sony recommends you avoid using it in a moving vehicle anyway.
