Off-topic, but you can install Windows on Apple computers, so no need to buy a new laptop. Just buy the OS.
Back on topic, the problem is not that Windows is becoming less relevant in the world of PC's, rather that the world of PC's is becoming (slowly) irrelevant with the arrival of smartphones and tablets.
