You can find yourself various interviews, presentations and vids on the subject by Sony. During E3 they showed off AR capabilities to the media a lot! So no graphics are not their main focus in marketing the device, it's just a part of many things.
again not all games announced are multiplat. There are quite a few games that are exclusive to the system and are unique. No need to be picky on what you mention, as I said there is a big range in play here.so when you say all you say the types are the same it's a rather misinformed generalization as I pointed out.
It won't affect ps3 sales..even if it does it will be very small. The main point to consider here are the markets they are catering to and they are not the same at all. simple as that.

I do remember a lot of talk about gameplay and controller interface, but I dunno. Guess people view it very differently then PSV.
Question, did PSP's release hurt PS2 sales in Japan?

dunno, never really followed sales data at the time..but the 3ds release didn't have much of an affect on the wii sales in japan afaik. will be similar in this case as well
