I was thinking possibly a good percentage of those marriages lead to divorce because they aren't considered properly. The media, which creates unrealistic expectations regarding marriage is part of the problem. Also, people are often more interested in 'getting married' rather than 'being married', if you get what I mean. People should reevaluate this practice.
