(both the parenting and the divorce topic) Parenting needs more attention, marriage needs more attention. I was thinking possibly a good percentage of those marriages lead to divorce because they aren't considered properly. I know that there are very heart-breaking stories of legitimate marriages that led into divorce so I hope nobody is taking that opinion the wrong way...

The media, which creates unrealistic expectations regarding marriage is part of the problem. Also, people are often more interested in 'getting married' rather than 'being married', if you get what I mean. People should reevaluate this practice.
