Just a quick reminder for anyone else who may not understand the difference: If someone votes for something that's already listed in the OP/update as eliminated, the entire vote is void (as was the case here). But if someone votes for something that was still viable in the last OP update/post update, but has since been eliminated by voters, then their qualifying vote is counted and their non-qualifying vote is pending and counted twice with their next vote. However, if they do not vote again by around the same time the next day so that I can count that pending vote x2, then their points that were once counted are now void as well (+ or -). I update at least twice a day (usually more) so please try and keep track of what's still viable. If you're voting for something that you're not sure is still active, go ahead and include an alternative: Example: + Xbox - 32x (if eliminated, then Saturn) It's true that the alternative could be dead already too, but it certainly helps in keeping the "pending votes" down so that it's easier for everyone to follow exactly how many points are going around. |
