How about easy games can't be fun, or you are robbing yourself of a good experience if you don't play it on hard.
I enjoy most games a lot more on easy. Combat is the least interesting to me in games, exploring, getting involved in the world, and experimenting with different scenarios are a lot more fun when I don't have to worry about being thrown back to the last checkpoint every time.
Quick save, quick load, rewind would be nice to have in fps/tps. I do not for one second believe that they will ruin the fun. Contrary there are many sequences I would like to play over straight away, but most games only give you the option to restart from the beginning of the level, so never mind.
