Hell I could ask for more Simulation and Strategy game on PC, like you guys here are asking for JRPGs, but the thing is their genres have just gone downhill and less of them are being made.

no this is not true

their is no big presence of jrpg's on ps3 because the jrpg dev's jumped to the handheld's when this gen began

Of course they did because the only big market for JRPGs is Japan itself and Japan buys mostly portables now. They go were the profit is.

their is profit to be made on ps3 aswell

i think Tale's Of Xillia's lifetime number's will determine if there is some profit to be made on home console's still(not including Final Fantasy 13)

the wii has proven that it is not the place Tales Of Graces, Last Story adn the others

the 360 with Tales OF Vesperia, Star Ocean, Lost Odyssey and the others

now ps3 never really got the chance to get a full fledge big name jrpg to release for it to see what number's it can do(im not counting Final Fantasy 13)

Xillia will be the 1st. now let's see how much it sells on ps3 in JP compared to what Vesperia and Graces sold on 360 and wii lifetime

Yes, there is a small market for JRPGs on consoles. These companies are not ignorant though and they know that JRPGS are fading in the west. The lack of JRPGs just reflects the lack of major interest for the genre by the western audience. Unfortunantly, a minority of gamers are put off by this and all there is to do  is to stick to handhelds. Minorities hardly ever get what they want it, life has usually  been about appealing to the opinion of the majority.

jRPG have always been a small market, its not smaller today than it was before, its not fading. Its just that the development cost on current hardware makes it hard to be profitable, whether we are talking about the west or japan doesnt matter. Hence the reason to move jRPG development to handheld.
