People who buy Xbox 360s intend to use them for games exclusively. It's very possible that there are millions of PS3s sitting next to TV and never play any games because their owners aren't gamers and never buy or pre-order games at all. Like I said I can't say for sure, but it's a possibility. |
thats the excuse for all you xbox fanboys, you should be ashame of yourself

Im a Xbox owner, but I feel MOST people bought a PS3 for gaming.. yes, 'some' people might have bought the PS3 as a Bluray player because for awhile it was cheaper then a bluray player, but.... I this is a VERY small percentage of PS3 owners ! Consider this.. if 99% of owners bought PS3's for gaming as the main usage...and the remaining 1% of all 50 million PS3 owners bought it as a bluray player.. You're still talking that 1% equals 500,000 worldwide bought it as a bluray player first .. If you want to say it was 99.5% gamers and only half a percent wanting a bluray player( 0.5% ) then you're still talking 250,000 people.. This is a beleivable at least because alot of folks used the PS2 as a gaming system as well as the DVD player almost equally as much.. The average DVD player owner worldwide also owned 42 DVD movies.. Its beleivable that 1% or .5% of PS3 owners could be watching bluray more then gaming.. but this WOULD have virtually no effect on Exclusives sales..etc.. Its just as conceivable 1% of Xbox owners watch more DVD's then they play games..
