Ok, after reading the source article in the OP, the MS rep is NO WHERE quoted as saying that they will NOT cut the price.
Now, that being said, will they? Who knows. I still strongly believe that the more they talk about being the top selling console WORLDWIDE in 2011 the more likely that there will be a price cut. I'm sure we'll know soon enough, because I really can't see them cutting it if it doesn't happen next month.
But they will emphatically deny it up until it happens. That's the way it's always been and likely the way it will always be.
