People who buy the Wii don't want anything experimental that isn't from Nintendo or that doesn't have a brand name attached to it already.

Look at Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. Game has a 68 on metacritic but it has sold over 2 million. Zack and Wiki has an 87. A very good score. Guess how many it has sold? 130,000 copies. The Wii is generally about name recognition and trendiness, of course with some exceptions like Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime, Brawl, Twilight Princess, and WarioWare which I can legitimately say are quality games.

Is it any different with the other 2 consoles? When you see Uncharted ( a very high quality new IP ) struggling to reach 250k in America what do you make of that? It's the general trend nowadays in this industry, not a specific Wii "flaw".
