Here's one from Newegg. If you end up buying something from Newegg, I'd advise shipping with UPS. The Egg Saver shipping (if you ever see a product where this shipping is being offered) uses something like DHL and the postal service and I wouldn't recommend it. We ordered wireless USB network adapters with Egg Saver shipping and instead of traveling the straight shot between a few states, it made a giant half circle around us. Mapping the shipping path on Google Maps made a gigantic 'G'. The second one we ordered was mis-shipped to the wrong city and we had to wait longer to get it.

Standard UPS shipping on the other hand hasn't been a problem for me yet. I've had a bunch of parts from computer hardware and a full sized tower case coming from California with standard three day shipping and they arrived early.

Here's a guide for the hard drive replacement of the old fat PS3. I don't think the Metal Gear Solid one was anything more than a different color so the guide should work. Make sure to back up your files, I think running the backup utility from the XMB will do the trick. I'd be a little worried about protected save files, but I'd make sure that the protected saves will be backed up with the utility. I've lost saves from games like Killzone 2 and Final Fantasy XIII (near the end game too) when my original PS3 died because of the damn 'protected' saves.
