Yea, but people's excuse is always that it either is worth it because the service is so much better, or $40 per year is hardly any money in the first place.
What they fail to recognize is that $40 per year for 5 years will put a HUGE dent in the price of the next console when it comes out, or help purchase some additional games.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
