It cost too much, the EA store and Steam basically gave this game away at the start of 2011. ME2 is also available on the PSN so sales figures might be skewed a bit. I think ME2 will do similar to Demons Souls sales on the PS3 just enough to justify the reason for it being ported onto the PS3, and it's not like it did gangbusters on the 360 either.
I am happy with 500k worldwide ltd, not bad if you consider it was a year late, and it cost 2x as much as it currently does on the pc and 360.
