I'm hoping that it's just because, like Bioshock and a few others, it's just because Mass Effect 2 was released a year later on the PS3 and the first chapter of the series isn't available for PS3 fans to fall in love with (Pretty much, exactly what you said.). I think I play a pretty wide variety of games (I'll play pretty much anything if it's good) and I have a lot of respect for the Mass Effect series. I hope that ME3 is embraced by everybody on both consoles when it releases. I think it's a really high quality series.
