Yes, except that it didn't have headtracking, and the flickering red wireframe graphics gave you a wicked headache. There was a first person tech-wing fighter plane game according to wikipedia, called red alarm.
Hopefully it all comes together next gen. Kinect 2.0 should have less lag too. Headtracking is possible now, but I have a feeling it might induce motion sickness with too much lag.
