I believe just about everyone here does understand that the UK is "weak" for SONY in terms of market penetration compared to the other consoles.

That's the thing though. Sony has just said in the OP that marketshare & placings are very important to them as a company. Something I and others have been saying in another thread. I just don't understand why you continue to say that market share is 'silly' or 'diddlysquat' to a company.
I'm not arguing that marketshare is more important than install base, I'm just saying that it is something that Sony cares a great deal about. Sure install base is a higher priority, I agree with that. But to imply that marketshare is next-to-meaningless is worng.
