I think the PSV is going to have a healthy launch, despite its price which a few people have said is to high in comparison to the 3DS. This entry price also allows for price cuts in the future, whereas the 3DS has become limited in this regard. I think Nintendo jumped the gun with such a substantial price cut.

To a certain extent i agree with EA, there's a few things psv has going for it. One of the biggest things it has is a clear target market that being the so called "hardcore" gamer. Another thing is the large amount of support it is getting from developers and publishers as well as the games to go with it.

However the main concern for Sony is whether it can maintain this kind of support for the most of its lifetime. Fighting off piracy or at least providing a good enough incentive not to pirate software is gonna be a key tool in its battle to remain relevant in the handheld market space.
