Is there someone who you often disagree with ideologically but still view as a hero?

Gandhi I both respect as a hero, and I support most of his ideology. This thread asks about people we for the most part disagree with, so I didn't mention him.

The irony of your post is that you bash communism, and then list Gandhi as being perfect..... Even though Gandhi lived in a Commune.

why would i read a pro-facist book. i already told you i hate socialism.

and i never said Gandhi was perfect, read the thread title. "some one you disagree with ideologically but view as a hero". i hate communism, hence why i disagree with Ganghi, but his actions still made him a hero.

and if it makes you feel any better, if all humans were like Gandhi, communism might even work.
