I don't think a lot of people will pay the 900$ premium for a 64GB SSD drive yet... Sure in the future it will become less expensive, but HDD is far from dead. As is the DVD.
HDDVD isn't dead but even if it died now, I'm not quite sure BR will take much market share from DVD. I do think that nothing will replace the DVD for the next 5 years at least.
