Partially true, but reality shows that both the 360 and the PS3 have considerable room for price cuts while still profiting on the systems. The install base is there for software sales, and considering how late in the gen we are, the sales are pretty admirable. The original Xbox and Gamecube would kill to have these sales late in the game.....oh wait that's right, they were already being discontinued.
